Ice Cream and Jelly and a Punch in the Belly

Channel 4 animation. Sinister goings on at a children’s party inspired by ‘Lord of the Flies’.

Commissioned through the Channel Four MOMI Animators in Residence Award Scheme, co directed with Lesley Bushell.

Two great legends of British Animation were involved – Stan Hayward produced it and Bob Godfrey provided the voice-over for the sinister children’s entertainer.

The film premiered at the BFI Southbank and was first screened on Channel 4 in 1997.
